You Upload Your Content
When you create or upload content (video, document, image, etc.), it first goes through our secure upload system. You can add links to where your content is published (YouTube, X, Instagram, etc.) to connect your verified content to your social media presence.
What happens: Your file is processed and a manifest is created containing your content hash, platform links, and metadata. You have 24 hours to review and make changes before it's frozen.
24-Hour Review Window
After upload, your content enters a review period where you can add or update platform links, verify details, or make corrections. After 24 hours, the manifest automatically freezes and becomes eligible for blockchain anchoring.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about TruthTrace
How does blockchain verification work?
We create a cryptographic hash of your content and anchor it to the Polygon blockchain. This creates an immutable timestamp proving your content existed in that exact form at that specific time.
Why is TruthTrace invite-only?
We're in controlled beta to ensure quality service and proper onboarding. This allows us to support each creator properly and gather feedback to improve the platform.
What does it cost?
TruthTrace is currently free during beta. We'll announce pricing before general availability, with special rates for early adopters.
Can I verify old content?
You can verify existing content, but the blockchain timestamp will reflect when you verified it, not when you originally created it. For maximum protection, verify content immediately after creation.
What happens if someone copies my content?
Your verification proof shows you verified first. You can use this as evidence of original ownership when filing DMCA takedowns or in legal disputes.
Is my content stored on the blockchain?
No, only the cryptographic hash is on-chain. Your actual content is stored on IPFS (decentralized storage). The blockchain only proves the hash existed at a specific time.
